Aggie Orientation is a full two-and-a-half days long, and our campus is large, so plan on bringing your good walking shoes and sun protection so you are prepared to be walking outdoors! Violence Intervention and Prevention Program – Representatives from the Center for Advocacy Resources and Education (CARE) discuss campus safety and resources. Orientation Leaders will take you to your Aggie Orientation sessions, facilitate activities, and answer your questions. OL Group Meetings – Meet with your Orientation Leader and get to know other students in your small group.The majority of these courses are based in UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education, but many of our professional schools also provide continuing education. All TAs who have not yet attended the UC Davis TA Orientation are required to do so by the University of California Office of the President and UC Davis Graduate Studies, even if they have taught previously. You’ll be placed in a small group of students with a trained Orientation Leader who will be your guide throughout Aggie Orientation.
